In this programme you will try to examine the motivations and behavioral aspects behind cyber crime and other deviant behaviors affecting the cyber world.
You’ll gain the critical knowledge and analytical insight needed to meet the growing threat of cyber crime. The aim of this programme is to equip you with skills allowing you to act as a link between traditional police officers and technological forensic investigators.
You will investigate a global approach to cyber crime and learn about international cooperation crucial for tackling the problem. Thanks to affiliations with the National Cyber Security Centre this programme will provide you a unique opportunity to collaborate with cyber crime experts including local constabularies and regional organised crime units.

The course content offers a combination of online webinars, learning activities and reading materials available both in online and offline version.
You will be participating in online discussion forums, where ideas will be shared and perspectives and experiences discussed with other students. You will be in touch with your tutors offering you feedback commenting on your efforts and work put in modules.
All course materials are available via Moodle, an easy-to-use Digital Learning Environment (DLE), allowing access at any time and from anywhere. All you need is regular access to a computer and an internet connection.
In order to qualify for the programme, the following requirements need to be met:
Applicants who don’t have a degree or formal qualifications, but who have appropriate professional experience may also be considered.
