Founded in 1987 by Dr John Hobbs Business School Lausanne is based in Switzerland, With a diverse student community and qualified and experienced faculty members the school is proud of its co-creative approach to learning, focusing on topics as broad as leadership, systems thinking, economics and business-driven sustainability.
The school is specialized in providing business and management education with a focus on sustainability. The school offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs. BSL's programs are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs.

MBA or Executive MBA programme with concentration in Business Transformation and Entrepreneurship will equip you with solid business knowledge and leadership training, allowing you to perform effectively in all areas of any organization. A combination of essential soft and hard skills will allow you to grow you as a self-aware management professional and provide you with framework to grow as a leader.

MBA and Executive MBA program with concentration in Sustainable Business focus on five specially dedicated modules to learn the latest frameworks in management and leadership skills required to enable the transformation to a sustainable business. This concentration will help you to redefine yourself with the practical competencies and become a leader future needs.

Each of the concentrations includes leadership, finance, marketing and strategy courses, creating the grounds for advancing management skills. These are further followed by specialization courses and at least 1 of 3 MBA / EMBA ELECTIVES. Each course involves 25 hours of classroom time over 3 days, and 50 hours of pre-and postcourse work (blended programme delivery-mix of online and on campus classes).

The integral part of the program is completing the MBA Project, in which you will develop a comprehensive consulting report of a company of your choice, idea or project. Through the MBA Project, you need to prove a solid understanding and ability to implement in a real-life scenario the following aspects: industry and market research, business strategy, marketing, human resources, operations, finance and risk management.

In order to qualify for the programme the following criteria must be met:

• MBA: Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of 5 years of work experience OR Master’s degree plus a minimum of 3 years work experience. Exceptions can be considered on one-by-one cases for candidates with a strong, exceeding 10 years of professional
• EMBA: Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of 5 years of managerial experience OR Master’s degree plus a minimum of 3 years managerial experience. Note that managerial experience is understood as having managed people or a project. Exceptions can be considered on one-by-one cases for candidates with a strong, exceeding 10 years of professional experience

Additional requirements:

• English language proficiency, min. required score: IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 90 or TOEIC 800 or Duolingo 110 or Language Cert - Low C1 (Expert Level) CV & 2 reference letters.

Having submitted required documentation, admissions team will inform you about the eligibility of your profile application status. Shortlisted applicants will be interviewed, either on campus or via Skype or phone. During the interview applicants’ motivation, professional experience, potential and soft skills will be assessed. Once the Admissions Committee will make the decision it will be communicated to the applicant-this process takes a week.

A non-refundable administration fee of 1’900 CHF is required upon successful admission to reserve a seat in the program. Upon receiving payment confirmation, students will be provided with Full Acceptance letter, which confirms their seat in the programme.
